We would like to take a minute to thank you for participating in this year’s “Go Pink or Go Bald” Hair Massacure event on Saturday February 18th 2012! We are truly overwhelmed by the amount of participants who joined us and are thrilled to announce that we have raised close to $ 42,000!!!! Our goal was to surpass last year’s amount which was of $ 27 000 and that we sure did!!!
Because of individuals like yourself…”Wishes do come true!”

Nous tenons a vous remercier d’avoir participe a notre evenement “Rasez ou teignez vos cheveux rose” *(Hair Massacure) qui s’est deroule le samedi, 18 fevrier 2012! Nous sommes veritablement emus par le montant de participants qui se sont joints a nous et nous sommes tres heureux que nous avons amasse pres de 42 000$!!! Notre objectif etais de surpasse le montant de l’an passe qui etait de 27 000$ et nous l’avons surement surpasse!!! Grace a des individus comme vous…”les voeux se realisent!”

With seven days left, we have 140 participants and almost $15,000 in online donations. Thank you to all who have been involved in this year’s Hair Massacure. Roughly 30 participants are confirmed to be shaved bald on stage at Place d’Orleans between 10am and 2pm on this Saturday (Feb 18th). Come this Saturday for refreshments (as they last) and entertainment and cheer on the participants.

We are so excited to announce our NEWEST CONTEST!!! Everyone who will have raised $500 or more by Monday February 6, 2012 at noon will have their name in a draw to win 4 tickets to the Ottawa Senateurs vs. St-Louis Blues game on Tuesday February 7th 2012.

Individuals
$200 to $499 – Make-A-Wish water bottle
$500 to $749 – Kali Bear
$750+ – Make-A-Wish towel & Kali Bear
Top individual fundraiser: Make-A-Wish towel, Kali Bear, Make-A-Wish towel and four (4) tickets to an Ottawa Senator’s game
Teams (2-10 people*)
$1,000 to $1,999 – Make-A-Wish water bottle and movie theatre gift card (for each team member)
$2,000+ – 8 GB iPod Touch (Team captain will be responsible for drawing the prize within their team (Makes a great internal team fundraiser prize)) and;
Wish Story (funds raised will go towards a specific wish; story to be provided by team)
*if your group consists of more than 10 people, 2 teams should be created:
Team 1= 10 people and Team 2= 5 people OR
Team 1= 7 people and Team 2= 8 people, etc…
